My total income for the month of August 2013.

Sep 212013

August of this year was a banner month for me. A lot of people have been following my success and asking questions about my August 2013 income. I want to point out that this was an exceptional month and while it will most likely fluctuate, my goal is to raise my income even higher over the next six months by adding more multiple streams of income.

While MCA is my biggest income earner, it is not my only stream of income at this time—and is not the only contributing factor to my August 2013 income. I also participate in a referral program for GWP (Get Weekly Paychecks), GWP is my capture page used to capture the attention and information of individuals interested in the program I am offering—in this case MCA. GWP pays me for every referral I send to them that actually signs up to use the GWP capture page.

I also have my website monetized with Google Adsense. Adsense supplies the ads featured on my website. If an individual sees an ad they are interested in on my website, I receive a few cents—depending on the particular ad. As I said earlier, I am working on some other streams of income to help me raise my monthly income amount. If you put all of your eggs in one basket, you won’t have much if those eggs get broken. My August 2013 income has grown because I choose to have income coming in from multiple areas.

Below is a list of My August 2013 income and the sources.

MCA (Motor Club of America) $ 9,323.08

GWP 240.00

Google Adsense 850.03

Total August 2013 income $10,413.11

As you can see August was a very good month. Please check out the video below that talks more about my multiple streams of income and how I’ve earned this money with my blog.

Due to my success with MCA, and my MCA Work From Home website, everyone has been asking me how I have managed to become so successful in a short amount of time. It is a valid question and one I have thought long and hard about how to answer. The answer is easy; however, putting all of the information together in a way everyone can effectively use it, is not. There are many things I have done on my blog to market MCA, as well as specific ways I have completed these tasks.

So, for everyone who is dying to know how I’ve made money with MCA, and my MCA Work From Home blog, I am co-writing an Ebook. This Ebook will walk you through, step by step, everything I have done to market my business. Along with the Ebook, I will (with the help of my friend who is co-authoring the Ebook) be launching a work from home website dedicated to all things WAHM.

On this website we will talk about everything it takes to become a work at home mom or dad. We will go over all of the programs and applications which can help you grow your business, as well as discuss how you can grow your business without spending a fortune. I am very excited about the new website and the new Ebook.

Don’t worry, MCA Work From Home will still be here. I will continue to share information that will help you grow your Motor Club of America business, as well as information that will help you no matter what business you are running.

I hope that all of my viewers will visit the new website and check out the new Ebook. I will be posting more information as we reach new milestones on both!

Leave a comment, let me know if you love MCA Work From Home and think a WAHM mom website can help you with your business.

ID 100137251 Holding Yourself Accountable When Working From Home

Image courtesy of Grant Cochrane /

There are many challenges that individuals working from home face every day. One of those challenges is holding yourself accountable. Your to-do list is full, your calendar heavily jotted with various scribbles of tasks to be completed each day—but, who do you answer to if the work doesn’t get done? The answer is no one. Now granted there are exceptions. If you have clients, you most likely have deadlines—when deadlines are missed, you lose clients. It is that simple. However, you can slack on deadlines if you don’t hold yourself accountable. Slacking can cause you to miss out on other clients and/or jobs and cause you to not complete other non-client work on time.

So, how do you continue holding yourself accountable when working from home? Below are a list of items to help you stay on track and stay accountable for your daily task list.

1. Keep a daily list of tasks on your calendar, notepad or note application. I personally use Evernote and my Google calendar. I also find it helpful to jot down a simplified list on a sticky note and stick it to my computer monitor. The more you see this list, the better. It is hard to ignore something that is continually staring you in the face. Don’t make it a long drawn out process, but take some time each evening to write, or type, down tomorrow’s list and then place it in areas you check frequently throughout the day.

2. Share your list of tasks or goals with a friend. I have a good friend, who is also a work from home mom, whom I share my list with. We actually started this process recently. We have agreed that each Sunday night we will send each other our weekly list. During the week we will check in with each other and ensure that the other person is working on their list. There is something about making your tasks or goals visible to someone else that can really make you step up to the plate.

3. Work on one task at a time. While we all need to multitask from time to time, you also want to ensure that you prioritize your tasks and finish each one. Sometimes it can be difficult to work on only one thing at a time, but certain tasks are going to need your undivided attention in order to be completed on time.

4. Evaluate your work. At the end of the week step back and take a long look at what you have accomplished during the week. Look at your completed—and uncompleted—tasks as if you were a supervisor evaluating another employee. Where did you fall short? What were your strengths? Look at your work objectively and then write a plan that will allow you to fix any issues that may have occurred that week.

5. Don’t forget to reward yourself. Rewards are great incentives to make us work harder, even when we work from home. Think about something that you really want to do, but have been putting off because you had too much work to do. Maybe there is a movie you have wanted to watch for a while. Perhaps you have been longing to go on a shopping trip. It might even be a food that you normally don’t indulge in, but have really been craving. It doesn’t really matter what the nature of the reward is—what matters is that you set a certain number of tasks to be completed before you earn the reward. Rewarding yourself may sound a little silly at first; however, if you stick to the rules, you just might find that it will give you the encouragement you need to hold yourself accountable.

Do you have trouble holding yourself accountable when working from home? How do you hold yourself accountable? Leave a comment, I would love to hear your suggestions.

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about this topic; however, I think it needs to be explored again. I want everyone who is complementing working from home to understand that work from home jobs take real work. If you read my blog, or peruse my website at all, you know that I am an MCA Associate. While the term “real work” definitely apples to MCA, it also applies to any other work from home jobs out there.

Every now and then, increasingly as of late, I have people inquire about MCA and ask me if they will receive a check even if they don’t do anything. Or if they will get paid for simply posting the adds and not signing anyone up for the program. I also have a friend who is a freelance writer. She once had someone tell her that they could make far more than her and produce thousands of articles a week. This person planned on copying and pasting articles other people had worked hard at writing and then planned on collecting the money. NEWSFLASH! That practice is blatant plagiarism and is illegal—and just plain rude and ignorant! Needless to say, this person was not successful with his plan. Why did he want to do this? He wanted to make what she was making—and more—without having to put forth the work to do so!

Any job, whether it be a work from home job or a job you are working outside of the home takes work. If you find something that doesn’t please let me know!

It is true that I enjoy a lot of freedom because I work from home. I get to spend extra time with my family and I can pick up and leave my home to run errands, or just to have a cup of coffee with a friend, almost any time I want—without having to ask a boss if I can—I am my own boss. However, that doesn’t mean that I don’t spend a lot of time working on MCA and the other projects I have going. Work is just that…it is work. If you want to be successful at anything, you have to put forth the effort. I would much rather be working from home, where I can be here for my kids when they aren’t in school, than I would working a 9 to 5 job.

So for all those people who wonder if MCA takes actual work. Yes, Yes it does. And so does any other work from home job!

Recently, I was turned onto the Bubblews website and how you can make money bubbling by my good friend Stephanie Stevens over at Frugal Mommy Talk. Bubblews is a site where you can earn money by speaking your mind. Bubblers earn by receiving likes, comments and views from other people on this website. The site earns ad income which is shared between the site and the Bubblers—50% going to the Bubblews site and 50% being shared among all of the people writing on Bubbles. Each view, comment and like receives .01 cent–from what I understand. While this doesn’t seem like a huge amount at first, several people are doing very well on this site.

There are several different topics to choose from, such as entertainment, personal items, business and food topics. I have noticed that you can write about most anything as long as you place it in the personal category.

Now, even though you can definitely pick your own topics, there are a few things you can’t do. These are the standard rules you must follow on Bubblews:

  1. Your content must not be plagiarized—it must be 100% original.

  2. Individuals must give you view, comments and likes because they want to—you cannot ask people to like, comment or view your posts.

  3. Absolutely no IP Manipulation.

  4. All Bubbles must be at least 400 characters long (about 100 to 105 words). You cannot post a bubble with only pictures.

  5. Absolutely no pornographic—or even semi-pornographic—content on this site.

As long as you can follow these simple rules—you can write and earn money with this website.

To kick off my first week writing on Bubblews, two of my friends and I are starting a challenge—which we are issuing to you, as well.

Please join Melony Gilstrap of Legit Online Work From Home and Stephanie Stevens of Frugal Mommy Talk, and myself, on our challenge. We challenge each of you to post 5 Bubbles daily for the next two weeks—are you up for it? Check it out and see what you’ve earned.

Join me on Bubblews Please be advised that this is my personal referral link. If you choose to create a Bubblews account, you can share your referral link on your website or social media sites.

Happy bubblying!

Over the past few months, I have talked to you about the MCA work from home opportunity. We have discussed topics such as “What is MCA?” and “How to make MCA money”. While I have also talked about other work at home topics, I really wanted to expand the topics that I talk about and allow my readers to have another outlet where they can ask questions and find quality information.

In the next couple of weeks, I will be rolling out a new website with the help of my friend Stephanie Stevens. This website will provide valuable information for those who are wanting to start a work from home career and offer suggestions on how to go about making money from home. If you are working from home now or are seriously considering a work at home job or career, this website will be for you.

I would like to know how many of you will be interested in this new website? Would you be interested in information that can help you earn more while working from home? Please leave a comment and let me know if you think this would be a valuable service.

When researching the MCA work from home opportunity, you may ask yourself if this can really work for you. You’ve probably seen the claims that you can make over $1,000 a week and are thinking to yourself that this opportunity is too good to be true. Well, you can truly make that much and more, but the choice is up to you.

You may also be asking yourself if this MCA work from home offer is legitimate. The Motor Club of America has been in business since 1926 and has become a well-respected company over those years. The reason MCA has managed to stay in business for so long is because of the quality service MCA offers—as well as the low price. The MCA Protection Plan gives drivers additional roadside assistance for highway mishaps that can provide customers with a piece of mind they wouldn’t have without this protection plan. MCA is a legitimate and long-established company with a stellar reputation.

Yet, you may wonder if you have the time to invest to make MCA work from home succeed for you. Well, do you have an extra hour a day? Maybe some free time on the weekends? MCA doesn’t utilize traditional advertising channels such as radio or television to promote their product. Most of MCA’s customers are brought to them by associates promoting the product that they use themselves. In this day and age, everyone has a Facebook page or a Twitter account, which allows them to reach several hundred people instantly. Social media provides an excellent way to promote MCA and get the word out to your family and friends—as well as anyone that can view their posts. Another way is to create your own website to direct potential members to, which is not as time-consuming or difficult as it sounds.

You may still be a little skeptical about the MCA work from home opportunity but what do you really have to lose? All it takes to get started is $40, the cost of your first and last months’ membership fees. That’s all you have to invest, and even if you never sign up a new member, you still get all the benefits of the protection plan. If you sign up just one person, then you will receive $80, which covers your membership plus gives you an extra $40. The more you spread the word and the more members you sign, the larger the paycheck.

With a little effort and a little determination, MCA can allow you to work from home. If working from home sounds like something that would suit you, and work with your lifestyle, then the MCA Work from Home Opportunity might just be the opportunity for you to join.

Are you considering work at home employment?

ID 10067211 300x300
Why More People are Choosing Work at Home Employment

Today, many people are choosing work from home employment over traditional office jobs.

In these times of rising gas prices and long commutes, work at home employment is quickly becoming a more viable option. While not for everyone, those individuals with strict time-management skills and a little ingenuity can thrive in the work at home environment. Work at home employment can be beneficial for those looking to supplement their income or who want a full-time career at home. Yet, as with any line of work, home employment depends on the time and effort put into it to be successful.

Work at home employment requires commitment in order to accomplish your goals. When starting out, determine the amount of time you have to dedicate to the job. Whether you are working as a freelance writer or doing telephone work from home, you should approach it as a normal job with a set schedule. This may take some trial and error, but soon it’ll become clear how much time you have and what hours work best for you. Also, allow yourself time for breaks while working, especially if you find yourself getting frustrated.

The working environment is another key factor in work at home employment. Making a home office relatively free of distractions usually works best. Laptops make it easier to take your work to the couch or down to a fast food restaurant, but most people are more productive if they have a regular work space. This makes it easier to focus on the task at hand.

One reason some are wary of work at home employment is the risk in not knowing about how much income it could generate. It is best to approach working at home like getting into a hot bath, ease your way in slowly. If you have a full-time job, keep it; on your days off, or after work, commit some time to your work at home job and see if it suits you. Also, there are many types of work at home employment so it’s best to diversify. Try several different types of work at home jobs until you find the one that best suits you and can generate enough income.

Work at home employment can be risky, but it can also be rewarding. It allows for more time at home which many with small children find advantageous. Also, the commute from the bedroom to the home work space is less crowded and saves gas. Yet, with any job, your success is determined by your effort.

stacey logo What is MCA?When people begin asking what I do for a living, the next question I normally receive is what is MCA? In this post, I am going to attempt to give you a rundown of MCA, also known as Motor Club of America and the basics of the associate’s compensation plan.

MCA was founded in 1926, when it began providing roadside assistance coverage to truck drivers. After a long, successful run, MCA decided that the MCA benefits plan should include personal automobiles and farm vehicles; so, in October 2011, MCA’s protection plan was changed to include those types of vehicles.

MCA offers a valuable roadside assistance service, providing help when you have a dead battery, a flat tire or need to be towed up to 100 miles from where your vehicle breakdown occurred. While these benefits are a must-have for anyone with an automobile, MCA also provides an emergency room benefit, a hospital stay benefit, an accidental death benefit and a prescription drug discount card—along with other various benefits.

In explaining what is MCA, I need to let you know that it is not only a benefits protection plan for you and your vehicle; but, also a way to earn a substantial income from home. MCA does not advertise through television, radio or other normal means of commercial advertisement. Instead, Motor club of America depends on its associates, who are also members of MCA, to provide word of mouth advertising about the company’s outstanding benefits. With this type of advertising, MCA associates earn $80 for every new member they personally bring to MCA. If you sign up just one person 5 days a week, you would earn $400 each week. Could you use an extra $400 each week?

Now when asked what is MCA, I let everyone know what a great company Motor Club of America is and how they can earn a profitable income with MCA. This company provides individuals with a means to work at home and provides a competitive wage. Where else can you make $80 every time you bring someone else into a program? Whether you would like the have the peace of mind that comes with being an MCA member or you would like to earn an extra income as an MCA associate, MCA may be for you.
